For your convenience, we offer 2 different sets of laser peels. The Lunchtime Laser Peel is perfect for the days when you have a bit of downtime and would like to rejuvenate your skin. The Weekend Laser Peel is appropriate for times when you have at least 2 days of downtime, and provides dramatic results.

How does it work?
The solid state laser (Erbium:YAG) light is highly sensitive and easily absorbed by the water located in the top layer of the skin. This results in the gentle removal of unwanted material and texture from the surface of your skin. Your medical professional at DermaTouch RN will consult results in ablation or reduction of the superficial skin. Your DermaTouch RN medical professional will help you select the most effective treatment plan for your skin.
When will I see results?
The effects of this treatment are cumulative. After each treatment, you will see improvements in your skin's pigment and texture. The first treatment will even provide significant changes. Other improvements will develop over time, and can be seen throughout a month or more. Each treatment will provide you with an additional layer of results until you reach your ideal skin state.
How often it be done?
Laser skin resurfacing is not instant and can take anywhere from 3 to 5 treatments to reach your desired goal. We recommend these treatments be spaced 2 to 6 weeks apart. Depending on your skin's condition and medical history, you may require additional treatments or recovery time. For long lasting results, occasional maintenance may be needed.
How long does it take?
If your skin or medical complications warrant it, you may be proscribed topical anesthetics, which are applied 30-90 minutes before treatment. The actual treatment takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes.
What can you expect immediately post-treatment?
You may experience small degrees of redness or swelling after your treatment. This condition usually disappears in a couple of days. Some people experience peeling in the affected area from 1 to 3 days. During the healing time, it is vital to avoid sun exposure when possible, use moisturizer, and SPF 45 sun block. You may use makeup in the treated area with physician approval.
